As he pointed out in this podcast, he fell in love with sports in his boyhood days, when he played for the youth team of Napredak from Krusevac at the age of 15. Although he did not build his career as a professional athlete, a large part of his career was marked by cooperation with various sports federations.
Namely, in 2005, Dragan became one of UEFA's European advisors for the introduction of licensing in the national championships of European UEFA member states, and BDO is today known as one of the leaders when it comes to auditing the financial statements of football clubs in Serbia and creating a strategy for the revitalization of clubs as business entities.
